It was brought to WLP Digital’s attention that our company’s name and logo was misrepresented and misused by fraudulent individuals.
As per public reports, individual engaging in fraudulent activities were promoting other company solutions/ opportunities at the expense of WLP Digital’s name. The scammer detailed the role as one involving assistance of merchants on e-commerce platforms in enhancing their sales via pre-emptive purchases and social media marketing. Additionally, the scammers provided reassurances to their victims, promising eventual reimbursement along with a percentage-based commission. In some instances, victims were instructed to transfer funds to a specified account as a prerequisite for obtaining their commission, although the promised commission was never actually delivered.
